The way the hotel staff spoke to me on the phone was shockingly rude. They even called me an “asshole” for no reason. It was completely unprofessional, and the hotel should be ashamed. I will never go there again and strongly advise others against it.

I booked a room for some friends and was told my credit card payment hadn't gone through, so they needed to pay at the property. That can happen, but I later saw that the card charge had gone through after all, meaning I was charged twice. I've called several times and was told the money would be transferred promptly. We first spoke a little over a month ago, and I still haven't received it.

I checked into the guesthouse at 8 PM on November 7th, 2023, after a 14-hour workday, hoping to shower and sleep. Outside the lockable patio door there was a pile of beer bottles and rubbish. Inside, there was no electricity. The owner, who lives next door, came quickly and got the power issue fixed after an hour. The old shower head was covered in limescale and gave only a weak, lukewarm trickle. I could have put up with that, but the bed collapsed when I tried to get in. I'm 1.83m tall and weigh 100kg. I called the owner several times afterward. He said he couldn't check every bed all the time because these rooms were for tradespeople, and assured me I'd get my money back. We'll see. I ended up driving another 2.5 hours home. It's an old building furnished with junk, like a refugee shelter. I can't recommend this accommodation to anyone, unless perhaps to the insects living in the room.

I stayed from July 29th to August 5th, 2023, and was shocked by the condition of the place. No staff were there when we arrived, but the confirmation email told us where to find the key. Once inside, we felt sick. Plaster was crumbling from the walls, the toilet seat was loose, the beds hadn't been freshly made, and the chairs were stained. The curtains didn't cover the windows properly, the bathroom tiles were broken, and there was no hot shower water. We saw a cleaner just once during the whole week. She emptied the bathroom bin but didn't change the sheets or clean the tables or anything else. The whole building smelled musty. After we spoke to the owner, we were told the cold water problem would be fixed, but the water still took about five minutes to get even remotely warm. There were only two of us, so we wanted a two-bed room. We were given a three-bed room instead, and told, “There were no two-bed rooms available, so we'll have a three-bed room.” Despite the room being changed without our agreement, €100 was added to the final bill. The service was absolutely terrible, there was no respect for us, and the customer clearly didn't matter. Not recommended under any circumstances.
