Meeresrauschen

Our dog loved the nearby park and the dog beach, about 500 meters away, and the beach itself is just across the street. The beach chair is only 100 meters away. We stayed in the Marit apartment for three weeks, and the location was great. Our last photo was taken from the terrace. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The living and sleeping area is at least 50 square meters, with a well-equipped kitchen in the same room. There's a huge L-shaped sofa that turns into a full-size box spring bed, with one section sliding forward on rails. We'd never seen one like it. The bedroom is large and has its own bathroom, plus there's another shower room off the hallway and a washing machine in a separate room. There are two terraces, one off the bedroom with morning sun and a much larger one off the living room. Two terrace loungers were broken and a few dishes were missing, but the landlords fixed that right away. They were super friendly. A fantastic, roomy place with plenty of comfort and a great location.

The apartments are wheelchair accessible, and there's an elevator. Depending on which one you book, the balcony or terrace looks out over the Baltic Sea, with cruise ships passing close by. I honestly can't think of anywhere else where you can see them that close. We first stayed at the Meeresrauschen Marit holiday apartment at Strandstrasse 38 in 2023 and loved it. We came back for 10 days at the beginning of June 2025, and have already booked for next year. The owners are so friendly, and everything runs smoothly, just how a vacation should be. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars. Laboe is our favorite place! 🥰❤️🙂

We were a family with two children staying in the Ferienwohnung Mila at Strandstr. 42. The view was wonderful, the sofa comfortable, and the bathroom lovely. It was a nice apartment for a family, and at first we were very happy with it. But near the end of our stay, we found mold on the wall in a corner of one bedroom. That's completely unacceptable, especially for someone with allergies. We received a rent reduction without any comment, but heard nothing more about it. Another family with children moved in right after us. Without the mold, we would surely have booked the apartment for our next vacation.

We stayed at Strandstraße 38, and the Baltic Sea view was breathtaking! The apartment had everything we could want. We've already booked for next year and can't wait.
