The rooms were clean, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and the property was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it if you're after a quintessential small German village experience just down the road from Koblenz.

Our room was clean, and breakfast was fantastic. It was served to us, so we didn't have to go through a line, which was really nice. There was no hot water, though, and no fan or air conditioning. Be ready to climb stairs.

The staff were really friendly, and it was lovely to eat in such an old building. We had plenty of time and enjoyed a very good local wine. The food itself was only so-so: my girlfriend's rump steak had quite a bit of fat, and my schnitzel tasted more like an omelette because there wasn't enough breadcrumbs. The atmosphere was okay, with '70s music playing on a small CD player.
