The hotel feels a bit dated, but I absolutely loved staying there. It was quiet, the price was very good, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the sauna and thought breakfast was great. Dinner buffet choices were very limited and perhaps overpriced, though the waiters were lovely and we still had a great experience. I'd definitely go back.

The buffet food was really good, and we liked having that option. The sauna was fine until two German couples walked in naked, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Also, the pillows are horrible. If you've seen this hotel, bring your own; your neck will thank you. Mine was in pain.

The lobby looks nice and has air conditioning, which gives you the impression the rooms will be comfortable too. They aren't. There's no AC, and the old hallway carpet is badly buckled, a real tripping hazard. We chose a balcony suite for an eight-night stay near the relatives we were visiting. The view was amazing and the room size was fine, but there were no drawers, just 10 hangers on hooks. There was plenty of empty space for drawers and luggage storage. Breakfast was pitiful, either items had run out or the food was cold. One evening both room keys stopped working. Nobody was at the front desk, even when I went behind it and knocked on the door. We found someone at the bar, who said the desk was staffed 24 hours a day. Eventually the front desk employee came out and said she'd had to go home. She reactivated both keys, but they failed again when we got back, so we had to come down from the 12th floor a second time. They worked after that. There was no apology. The staff didn't seem to care about guests. We'll never stay there again. We should've known, you get what you pay for.

Our group of 60 adults and children from the U.S. was there for two nights during a record heatwave. Even with windows open at night, the rooms were stifling, easily over 80°F. There was no air conditioning, and reception had only a few fans, so most of us had no relief. Several people also had showers that didn't work, electrical problems, and other maintenance issues. The staff's attitude made the stay worse. Basic questions seemed to irritate them, and many came across as passive-aggressive or hostile. We understand there can be a language barrier and differences in communication style, but tone and body language were clear enough. It felt like independent guests were treated much better than our tour group. I've stayed in all kinds of places and this was one of my worst hospitality experiences. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but we weren't merely inconvenienced, we were mistreated. We were told the bar was closed for renovation and would reopen the next day. When we came back, all we got was an abrupt “The bar is closed,” with no courtesy or explanation. Since the bar was shut, we were told to order drinks from the waitstaff, but they blatantly ignored us and regularly served other guests first. At dinner we were assigned specific tables. A solo traveler who wasn't with us was seated at one, displacing four group members. Then the service manager rudely told a 16-year-old boy from our group to move from a nearby table while he was eating, without saying where he should go. Others were made to move too. No other diners were waiting, and only our group was singled out. The breakfast boxes for our early departure weren't ready on time. When they were thrown together in a hurry, each had just a juice box and a dry, sad piece of bread with one slice of cheese. Wyndham should review the property's staff and management. Guests deserve basic respect and professionalism.

Breakfast was fine, nothing special, and enough to start the day. The breakfast staff, though, were so unfriendly and inattentive it was almost like they weren't there. That was the one real downside. I stayed here years ago and had a pretty bad experience, but this visit was a total turnaround. The room was perfect, fresh, modern, and well looked after. Reception staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Overall, a huge improvement.
