It feels like coming back to a little home of my own. Such a lovely, quaint place.

Breakfast was fine, but the value for the money could be better. After 6 p.m. there was no sign of the owners, and the restaurant was shut, so we had to find somewhere else to eat.

I chose the Blütenhotel because I wanted to see the Otto Ubbelohde House, and the museum is an easy walk from there. The area is peaceful and quiet, aside from the church bells.

It's a really pleasant, quiet place, and breakfast is small but good. The church bells ring on the hour. Getting the front door open takes patience, since the key or opener needs several tries. The stairwell seems to have emergency lighting only, and it's very noisy: you can hear someone moving around in the room upstairs at 12:30 a.m.

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. It's a charming small hotel, with cozy rooms and a nice backyard conservatory. The rustic feel is playful, and I imagine it looks even better in spring and summer.
