It was lovely to explore the spacious grounds with the dogs, and the neighboring property has some very curious goats. The estate itself is beautiful and old, set in a quiet, peaceful village with cobblestones on the way in. Breakfast was good each day, and dinner was good too on the one evening we ate there.

We really enjoyed the lake, which is lovely for swimming, and the sauna is a great extra that's free to use. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. You can hear the highway, as some other reviews mention, but it wasn't very loud. Loved staying here, and I'd highly recommend it.

After a long day cycling, the sauna was just what we needed. We also had a very good dinner, and our hosts were really friendly. The room was a good size and clean, with strong WiFi. Walking around the grounds was a pleasure, and it felt very peaceful beside the lake. There is a faint sound from the nearby highway, but I didn't find it bothersome.

I've already stayed here three times, once each year, and plan to come back again! The place is in a great location, with a calm atmosphere, nice BBQ, very clean and spacious rooms, and super friendly staff. ❤️

The food is delicious, and the staff are very nice and speak English really well. I found the stay relaxing, especially with the beautiful garden and its big lake. A very good place to stay.
