We’ve never had such friendly service. The hosts were wonderful, and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back.

The rooms were spotless, and breakfast was superb. The owner prepared it with so much care and was incredibly attentive. A big compliment to him, and his wife was just as lovely and kind. We were thrilled with this wonderful guesthouse, though unfortunately personal reasons meant we had to leave early. Thank you for a very pleasant, if short, stay.

We felt at home at the Franz Xaver & Sissy Mühlbauer guesthouse in Lam during our stay from August 13th to 17th, 2025. Breakfast was a nice time to chat, and if you’re lucky, the friendly Franz Xaver might entertain you with music. Everyone speaks openly, in a pleasant and fun way, and the informal "du" adds to the welcoming atmosphere. It was wonderful to be part of it. We’re looking forward to seeing you again and leave with a cheerful smile. Werner Franz Mühlbauer and his Peli (Apparently not related) But that would have been OK too 😂
