Parkhotel Landau

The room on the second floor was comfortable, and the bed was good, though the separate quilts felt a bit small. It was odd and inconvenient not to have bedside cabinets. My main complaint was the lack of tea or coffee facilities in the room. For an early or late coffee, I had to go to reception and pay to use the machine. The hotel is in a lovely spot, an easy walk to the station and town centre, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The food was very good, especially breakfast, and our room was spacious, warm and comfortable. I only wish the indoor lighting had been a little brighter, a minor issue. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well placed for visiting town. We enjoyed our stay at Parkhotel Landau and would certainly stay at the Park Hotel again if we return to Landau.

The breakfast plates felt a bit small, and when it got busy the two coffee machines weren't enough. I ended up waiting a long time for coffee. I also agreed to skip room cleaning, but expected the tea and coffee supplies to be topped up. It was a good stay overall.

There aren't many choices in Landau, so we stayed here, though we'd have picked another hotel if we could. The rooms get very little light, and the furniture is quite dated. The rooms feel old, and the carpet looked dirty.
