The room was spotless and the water came through hot, and the place matched its description exactly. Still, I wouldn’t really call it a hotel: it’s a set of rooms in a building with no bar, restaurant, receptionist, lift, or disabled access. My room had no kettle, fridge, or safe either. The curtains wouldn’t close properly, and the temperature control was unreliable, so I swung between too hot and freezing through the night. I’d spend a little extra to stay at the comfortable, modern hotel in Ergoldsbach instead. Also, those reviews mentioning welcoming staff are over five years old, so keep in mind that things can change.

I stayed one night at Cristallo for the Landshut 2025 half marathon. The room was roomy, the shower was spacious and wonderfully hot, and the service was friendly. It was an easy walk of about 1 km to the race start, and the price felt fair.

Ivan was a great host, always helpful and happy to chat. I felt right at home at Hotel Cristallo, and the service was fantastic. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice bed. Check-in staff were really kind, and there’s parking on site.

For our trip to Landshut, this was just right. The rooms were newly renovated, the service was amazing, and the location was great.
