We were able to use the terrace once the sun came out in the afternoon, and with just 20 of us, we had the hotel restaurant to ourselves. The reunion went really well, and it was handy to stay overnight. Our rooms had a country style and very comfortable beds, and breakfast in the same style was a lovely way to finish the event. The team made everything easy from planning through to the day. They clearly handle group events often and seemed to have a tried-and-tested answer for every request. We started at noon with a welcome drink, then had coffee and cake in the afternoon and a buffet in the evening. There was so much to choose from, and everything was well prepared and delicious. The service team was attentive and dealt with all our requests without a problem. Everyone in the group was happy. The hotel’s barn-style function room looked very inviting and would suit a larger family celebration. Thanks to the whole team for helping us have such a fantastic class reunion. We’d gladly recommend the hotel.

The restaurant menu was small, but everything we tried was delicious. In the evenings we could sit on the terrace and take drinks from the refrigerator, then pay for them at checkout. A price list there would help, since otherwise you might assume the restaurant prices apply. We stayed three nights with our cycling group and felt very comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely spot just outside Schwerin and not far from Wismar. Our clean rooms were nicely furnished and practical, and the breakfast buffet was tasty.

It’s a great fit for medium-sized groups. The hotel team was keen to take care of every request, and the dinners were excellent throughout. It isn’t a five-star hotel, but it doesn’t need to be. The grounds are beautifully situated, a short drive from Schwerin and Wismar, with the golf club nearby and plenty to see in the surrounding area. Thanks, perhaps we’ll come back! 👍😃☀️🍗🥂

The wedding party ended at 1 a.m., although it was meant to go on until 3. Staff threw away the food, even though that wasn’t what had been arranged. An older server also made a rude remark when someone didn’t want to eat. That’s unacceptable. I stayed overnight for the wedding, and that was enough for me. The country inn is well located and could be a dream venue if some things changed, but a lot would have to happen before I’d recommend it. The windows in the party building were dirty, the toilets weren’t properly clean, and nobody restocked paper towels during the evening. The young man serving at the counter was often left on his own. In my opinion, the older man treated him badly in front of guests. The younger employee did a really great job, though. The price doesn’t match what you get. My room was small, and the bathroom would have been fine if the previous guest hadn’t left toothpaste behind the sink. Breakfast was disappointing too. The eggs were so overcooked they had turned blue, the liverwurst and teawurst were served straight from their packaging, and the cheese was moldy. For the breakfast price, I expected much more, including fresh ingredients. The stay was okay apart from the employees who could really ruin your mood. One man seemed either not in the mood or unsure how to speak to guests.
