This was poor value for money, and I can't recommend the accommodation. The room smelled musty and was badly insulated. We could hear every word from the neighbors, and the upstairs neighbor stomped around until 11:30 pm. The reception staff were only mildly friendly, which leaves room for improvement at this price. Based on what I experienced, I can't recommend staying here.

I used to stay often at Hotel Bethanien a long time ago and was always very impressed. As far as I know, it used to be run by nuns, which gives the hotel a distinctly Christian character. It's lovingly managed and decorated, and I highly recommend it. I'm 82 now, and I'm wondering if I could, or would dare to, make the trip to Langeoog again. I don't really feel like writing much, but wanted to leave a few lines.

The rooms are simple but modern, and for the price the value is excellent. We were very satisfied with our long weekend: everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were great. In the afternoon they offer several kinds of cake, and there's also an honesty counter for drinks and other things.

We spent five days here in April and were very pleased. The meals were excellent, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Mrs. Duken!
