The room doors are so thin that every hallway noise comes through as if it were in the room with you. I also found it disrespectful that, during a short absence of about 1.5 hours, someone entered my room even though I hadn't put out the "Please Clean" sign. They shut the windows I'd opened for fresh air and threw away my personal garbage bag, which I'd left beside the bin, without asking. There were some real positives. The family running the guesthouse were warm and friendly, the room was clean and nicely furnished apart from the duvets, and breakfast was delicious, fresh, and varied. The location is central, with the train station and town center easy to reach. But I was cold at night. Even with the heating set to level 5, it barely gave off any warmth. I mentioned it politely to the host on the fifth evening, and he said he'd deal with it, but nothing changed. The duvets were extremely small for me at 1.90m, so my feet were always uncovered. I tried using two on top of each other, but I still wasn't warm enough. Payment was another hassle. Two days before arriving, I spoke with the owner by phone and was told I could pay by card or cash, so I deliberately didn't bring much cash. Once I got there, he insisted on cash and pressured me to go to the bank. I had to find an ATM and withdraw money. I would have understood if he'd clearly said beforehand that he preferred cash, but the way it happened was unnecessarily complicated. I was staying alone in a double room while on Langeoog for a training course at the end of May 2025. The charming accommodation and friendly family made for a mixed impression, with plenty of room for improvement.

The beach chairs in the front garden were a lovely place to unwind after biking. The guesthouse is about a three-minute walk from the train station and around ten minutes from the livelier parts of Langeoog. The Voss family runs a small place with simple, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast included. We had a wonderful weekend, felt very comfortable, and would definitely come back.

Quiet and conveniently located near the train station, restaurants, and shops, this small family-run guesthouse has bright, friendly rooms with modern furnishings. Breakfast is served at the table, with a small help-yourself buffet of cheese, sausage, and salami as well. The Voss family are happy to offer tips for a Langeoog stay. It's a great budget-friendly alternative to a hotel, and I'd gladly return.

Room 2 faced the side and was very quiet. It had a small TV and a kettle, and was cleaned and the bed made every day. In the afternoon, we could sit in the garden on the beach chair or benches, have cake from EDEKA, and make tea or coffee in the house, where it's freely available to guests. Breakfast was great, especially the superb bread rolls. Thanks, Fam. Voss, for such a lovely stay. Keep it up!
