We had a lovely Christmas stay, and the floor's radiant heating made it especially cozy. It's close to Dresden, too. Matthias was welcoming and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The home itself is charming, newly renovated, and really comfortable, with a beautiful kitchen.

We found the holiday home spotless, with lovely furnishings and excellent amenities. The landlord was super friendly 👍🏻. We were in Laußnitz for one night for a carnival event.

We loved having the beautiful Lustgarten (pleasure garden) by the Hummelnest to enjoy in the afternoon or evening. This was our second stay, and the apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It's a great base for exploring Saxony, with Kamenz, Dresden, Görlitz, Meissen, the Bastei Bridge, Königstein Fortress, and Saxon Switzerland all on the list. Marion and Matthias, thanks so much for the pleasant communication. We'll be back, see you soon!

We felt at home straight away in the fully equipped apartment, which left nothing to be desired. The Hummels are such kind, tolerant, and relaxed landlords, and the cottage sits in a lovely secluded garden. The area is fantastic for hiking in the extensive forest. Saxon Switzerland, Dresden, and even Moritzburg Castle are easy to reach from here.

We really enjoyed cycling around the lake area near Senftenberg and the Zchornaer Teichgebiet. It's a lovely, quiet property, and the landlords are super nice. Our E-Bikes fit in the garage with the table tennis table, and sights within 40 km were quick to reach by car. Peace and nature are what matter to us on holiday, but we also like having the option to head into the bustle of Meißen, Dresden, and places like that.
