The restaurant alone made the booking worthwhile. The food was delicious and varied, the waitresses were kind and polite, and breakfast and afternoon cakes were included. There was some construction nearby, but the surrounding nature was beautiful, and the price felt like good value with the dining included. We were mainly there to relax and enjoy the sun after a harsh spring, so we didn't try the whole spa. The pool area was lovely and quiet, with people reading, napping, or listening to the birds. Our room was comfortable, though I'd have preferred firmer pillows and curtains that blocked more sunlight. It's not a new or fancy hotel, but it is calm and peaceful, just what we wanted. The staff were welcoming, though English isn't their strong point. Google Translate helped, and some speak French. A good choice if you want quiet and nature. Highly recommended.

The spacious rooms and food were great, but the service was the worst we've experienced in a long time. The elderly woman at the front desk was very rude, and when we reported spider webs and dead animals in our room, she didn't think it was a problem, so we cleaned it ourselves. We had gift cards that could only be used if we spent the exact amount or more. We were told it was “not possible” to book treatments that cost less, without any real explanation. Parts of the quiet areas were under construction when we arrived, and no one had mentioned it during booking. Workers stared at naked women and shouted comments or whistled. It didn't feel like a spa environment. The wellness area could have been nice, but the swimming pool wasn't separated by a wall, so kids yelling and playing made it hard to relax. The indoor pool was tiny, and the outdoor one was dirty, with worms and other things. A waste of money and time. We definitely won't return or recommend it.
