Hotel Haus Lüssing

The buffet was generous even with just 8 guests there for breakfast. We’d happily come back 😋

Lunch looked good and tasted good too. I’ve had better, but it was fine overall. Breakfast has always been plentiful for me, with consistently good quality and things topped up regularly. The place itself mixes an 80s feel with some modern touches.

The service was friendly and efficient, and I really liked the potato gratin and chocolate mousse. The asparagus soup tasted good, though it was very sweet, while the croquettes were a little too salty for me. The first schnitzels seemed like they’d been reheated for a third time, but the second batch was much better. We were invited to this asparagus dinner a few weeks ago, and these are only my own impressions and opinions.

There was a decent spread of rolls, cold cuts, cheese, and other treats at the Easter breakfast, and otherwise we had no complaints. It’s a quiet, family-friendly restaurant, though the buffet was busy. The time to eat felt very short: it opened at 10:00 AM and they were clearing things away less than two hours later. For the price, fresh rolls would have been preferable to pre-baked ones.
