Hotel Villa Toskana

The floors of the spa each brought another bit of calm. I liked the rejuvenating shower path, the infrared chairs, and the golden room of silence. The one snag was other guests talking loudly, and I don't think the infrared chairs in the salt grotto were working. I came to Hotel Villa Toskana for a four-hour spa visit, with a massage and the best facial I've ever had. It was a special experience, and the staff made me feel welcome. I speak German well, but appreciated switching to English so I could understand everything. They gave me a day spa bag with a robe, two bath sheets, and slippers. If you're curvy, the robe may not close all the way, though the towels were plenty big. The address leads to the side of the hotel, but the walk around to the front was lovely. I needed a break from everyday pressures, and I'm glad I went. Next time I'd like to stay overnight and spend longer decompressing, without the four-hour limit. Thank you!

The reception, restaurant, and bar teams were all polite, helpful, and friendly. The hotel itself is attractive, with a range of nicely decorated rooms and very good spa facilities. My issue was with the spa service. The schedule said it stayed open until 9 PM, but after 12 hours at work I tried to go to the sauna at 7:30 on my first day and was refused towels because staff said they closed at 8. The next day I arrived at 7, having learned from that, and they said they were closing in 30 minutes. They did give me towels and a bathrobe, but with an annoyed sigh. Instead of relaxing, I felt as if I was in the wrong for showing up. The spa service needs to improve.

The thoughtful little touches are what made the stay feel special, and the staff were so welcoming and seemed to care about their guests. Villa Toskana got everything right for me. My room was modern, spacious, clean, and a pleasure to stay in. The service felt five-star. I highly recommend it, and other hotels could take a few lessons from this place.

The room was comfortable and quiet from outside noise, but the summer heat was hard to handle. There was no air conditioning, just a fan that didn't cool the room. The internet only worked in my bathroom, rooms were cleaned every two days, and there was no complimentary water. This does not feel like a four-star hotel.
