We came for the IKA Culinary Olympics 2020 and stayed six nights. The S2 and S3 station made getting into Stuttgart city center easy, under 30 minutes, and Murthum apartments were close to Messe Stuttgart. Our apartment had plenty of room and a kitchen stocked with the utensils needed for cooking. Lisa, the owner of Murthum, was attentive and very kind, and even gave us a discount when we paid cash. I'd happily stay here again for an exhibition or a visit to Stuttgart.

The guesthouse was in a really quiet spot, even though the exhibition grounds were only a short drive away. We spent four nights there while attending the Stuttgart trade fair, and the apartment worked out great. The owners were warm and helpful too. If we need somewhere in the area again, we'll come back. Best wishes.

I'd booked and paid at the start of May, and we'd agreed on an arrival time. When I showed up at that time at the end of June, there was no reservation and no room. They also offered no help finding somewhere else, just said I could stay one night and should find different accommodation after that. I travel a lot and have had plenty of experiences, but nothing like this. It was uniquely unpleasant.

The apartments were clean, affordable, and very pleasant, with a handy location near the trade fair. I do recommend them. One thing caught me off guard: while we were out in the city, the owner came into the apartment and opened the windows to cool it down. It was a kind thought, but still felt unusual. The house rules do say she reserves that right, so I'm giving four stars out of five.
