ACHAT Hotel Leipzig Messe

I had to break my trip between Holland and my home country into two stages for the first time, because of health problems and the need to rest while living with pain. The hotel was nice, the room had excellent equipment, and the bed was comfortable. Most importantly, I could sleep with my daughter on all fours [a short-haired German Shepherd]. I arrived late because of car trouble and had a hard time finding a parking spot. Quite a nice place, and I’ll probably return.

We stopped here on the way back to the UK and were really pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean, the buffet breakfast tasty, and the staff speak English. A lovely place and one of our best stays. It’s close to the motorway, though technically it’s in the Leipzig low emission zone and a sticker is required. The internet was slow, but the experience overall was extremely positive.

The breakfast is simple, but what they serve is good quality, and we enjoyed it. Our room was spacious and had a lot in it, including a large TV that connects to a phone, a microwave, fridge, desk, and comfy beds. The staff were nice, the Wi-Fi worked, and the place felt calm and pleasant. Getting to the city center by bus is difficult, though that seems more like an issue with the bus system than the hotel. With a car, the location is much easier to manage. We’d happily return. For this price, the quality is hard to beat, and I’d recommend it.

The people there were welcoming, and we had a nice stay. The hotel is about 8 km from the center, though transport is nearby. The rooms were well equipped and the biggest I’ve seen in Germany so far.
