The price is hard to beat, especially with such helpful service. The receptionist really went out of his way for me, and everyone was friendly. It’s central, tidy, well organized, and affordable, so I had a good stay and would come back. A few things could be better: the bathrooms need more attention, maybe even a fresh coat of paint, all the showers are on one floor, and the cubicles could block sound better. That’s why I took off a star. Some guys playing billiards irreparably damaged my bike. That was down to their ignorance, not the hostel, which did its best to make me comfortable. I travel a lot and can only say good things about the place overall. I’ll be back.

I had to pay another 10€ for a coworking space because the Wi-Fi here blocked every VPN I tried, including my company's one. I needed a VPN since my company doesn't allow direct internet connections. I checked in hoping to work quietly in my room and join conference calls on Friday, but had to work elsewhere instead. With remote work so common now, I expected better.

At night, you can hear a lot of noise in the corridor as people come and go. Our room had bunk beds, but two adults and a toddler could all sleep on the same level, so we didn't have to split up. The location was nice, the room was very clean, though the hallway felt like a labyrinth.

The buffet was outstanding, and there’s a bar every day plus a comfortable seating area for guests. The beds were fresh and the ensuite bathroom spotless, with the whole place kept clean. Staff were friendly too. It’s only moments from the Leipzig Markt, and I highly recommend this hostel. One of the best I’ve stayed in, you won’t be disappointed.
