The highway nearby was very noisy. I booked after calling specifically to ask if I could arrive around 9 pm and check out at 2 pm. She agreed, and I confirmed the arrangement again when I arrived. At exactly 12 the next morning, a middle-aged woman knocked and told me to leave. I politely explained that I'd already spoken with the receptionists, but she wouldn't listen. She said she was the chef and ordered me to go, then repeated that I couldn't stay past 12 and had to leave the room within 10 minutes. She said there were other bookings, even though the hotel has four floors and was almost empty. She could have spoken politely and checked with her employee, since they had given me the wrong information. Instead, she acted like a boss. I was paying for my stay, and I expect to be treated respectfully.

The room felt dated, and there was no ventilation, so we had to leave the window open all night for fresh air. That meant hearing traffic from the very noisy highway. The elevator wasn't working either, which is a nuisance when rooms are on the second floor and higher. We won't return, and I can't recommend it.

The staff were professional and very kind, and our room was clean and comfortable. There's a garage with wide parking spaces for 6 euros per night. Public transport takes about 40 minutes to reach the city center. For taxis, FREENOW is the easiest option to download. A ride costs around 30 euros on average, and you can pay the driver directly.

Breakfast was top notch, with something for everyone, and the service was friendly and good. The rooms are basic, but so is the price, which seems fair. There's free parking outside, or you can pay €6 to park securely under the hotel. It's on a main road, with a bus to the centre right outside. German food is very underrated.
