H2 Hotel Leipzig

The breakfast room was nice, and the food was good. Breakfast especially exceeded my expectations, with the hotel generally clean and in a good location. There are three huge parking garages around the hotel and central station; one is right next door, at €1.5/h or €15/calender day, and you can also pay at the hotel. I gave four stars instead of five because room cleaning is every three days, which feels a bit too long for a four-bed room shared by three or four people. I hope they can make it every two days. You can pick up extra towels at reception whenever needed. Definitely a good recommendation for a stay in Leipzig.

The main drawback was the wall in our room, which had visible water stains, probably from a leak. It made the room feel neglected and gave us the impression we’d been given the “last available” one. That’s a shame, since otherwise the hotel has what it needs for a very pleasant stay. The room was practical and nicely designed, and the hotel is large with a beautiful design. There was no safe, kettle, or fridge. It would’ve been better if the window had blinds between the panes to stop people looking in. Breakfast was good, though busy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The hotel is in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from the center, and has its own garage for a fee. I recommend it.

There was a huge range of breakfast choices, and everyone I dealt with on staff was first class. The bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked well. Our clean, fresh room also had a large TV, though it didn’t offer much wardrobe space. It’s a lovely hotel next to the station, but we didn’t hear noise from the station or road during our stay. A good base for visiting Leipzig.
