Leon Apartment

The apartment itself was nice for the price, but there were several things that shouldn't have been an issue at that rate. We arrived to a shock when we went to the other address we'd been given to collect the keys. That didn't feel like express check-in. When we asked, we learned the apartment had been rented twice and they wanted to find us somewhere else, even though everything was confirmed by Booking.com and Leon Apartment. They also hadn't expected us for another two days, despite the confirmation. They said the defects were already known. The coffee table shown in the pictures was missing, so we had nowhere to put drinks or snacks except the floor while sitting on the sofa. There weren't enough dishes: just two egg cups and glasses, plus two small cereal bowls, all mixed together. There was lots of thick dust behind the bed, the shower's radiator bracket had been ripped out, the grout was moldy, and the fans' air intakes were covered in gray lint. There was no hairdryer at first. One was delivered on the second day.

The apartment was spacious, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was a shame the Wi-Fi didn't work, since I wanted to look up what to see in the city.

It's loud. The bedroom faces the street, and the windows are really old. It makes no difference whether they're open or closed. Everything else was as expected.

The key collection process was an interesting idea. The apartment was clean and in a great location. We'll definitely be back!
