The room and shared spaces, including the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen, were very clean. At night it was a bit noisy, and you could hear people talking through the wall. Wi-Fi only worked in the shared kitchen.

It's handy and clean, close to the station. Wi-Fi is weak, though, and really only useful near the cafeteria on the 4th floor.

We spent one night here with our baby and thought the price was excellent. The shared toilets were clean, and breakfast had a lot of choice. The location couldn't be better. We loved Leipzig, especially at Christmas, and will definitely come back. Highly recommend the guesthouse.

The smell was the first problem: faint garlic from the communal kitchen had spread to our floor and was still there the next morning. Opening the windows in our room didn't shift the strange odor either. The mattresses are hard, breakfast is very basic, and I won't even get into the toilet. For the money, it was really poor value, especially when nearby hotels were cheaper. Compared with other guesthouses, this one felt uninspired and smelled unpleasant. Next time we'll choose a hotel, which, as I said, costs less and is much more pleasant. Such a shame, because the place has potential, but it seems more focused on profit than anything else. I can't recommend it.
