Seminaris Hotel Leipzig

We stopped here for one night while traveling from Hungary to the Netherlands. The room was spacious, the bar relaxed, and breakfast decent. Even with parking in their private lot included, the price was excellent value.

There’s no water or minibar in the room, and no coffee or tea maker either. Breakfast choices are limited, the furniture is very old, and the bed covers were torn. The heating controls don’t work. Parking out front is tight too, with one car blocking another. I’d give it three stars at most, even though it’s called a four-star hotel.

A lovely quiet, clean place near the forest, and good for families. Breakfast is included and nice, with pancakes sometimes. The 7 Tram stop is only 200m away and goes straight to the RB Arena, handy if you’re there for a game. Do have a drink too, the barkeeper is so friendly and makes great drinks. 💚

We arrived around 11:45 pm, exhausted from traveling, and my children were so tired they were in tears. The receptionist checked us in and gave us the keys, but after settling in and putting the kids to bed, we noticed a bad smell, piles of hair on the floor, and cobwebs on the walls. We reported it to reception that same night, hoping they’d fix it or offer us another room. Nothing was done. When we brought it up again at checkout the next morning, we were met with indifference. We felt ignored, and the stay was unpleasant. I’m sharing this because I hope action is taken to prevent the same thing happening to someone else.
