There was mold on the walls and ceiling, and stains on the wall-to-wall carpet. The furniture looked like it was from the 1940s. My room had no soap or shampoo, no fridge, and faced a blank wall, so there was no view. I didn't feel welcome at all. The owner didn't seem very happy doing her job. And calling it breakfast feels like a stretch when it's only a cup of coffee and a cheese sandwich. Next time I'd rather stay at Fawlty Towers.

The house and rooms look dated, though they were clean. Breakfast was very basic, but the lady of the house was really nice.

The landlady puts her heart into the place, which is small but perfectly formed. They pour the best pilsner on tap here. As far as I know, you can stay overnight, and it's a great base for hikes.

We slept really well, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner shared excellent, useful hiking tips. The furniture is a bit dated, but everything was clean and decorated with care. Breakfast was simple and very reasonably priced. I'd definitely book here again.

My cousin and her husband stayed the night and were very pleased with their room and its super comfortable bed. We were celebrating my mother's ninetieth birthday, and everything was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent too, and the food, service, and friendliness were all top-notch. We'd gladly come back anytime.
