The sunset from the jetty by the lake, the trip to the Elbe River, and the impressive old town with its castle were all wonderful. The old watermill is fantastic too, with a lovely mill stream and beautiful old trees. It’s a shame the restaurant is no longer open in such a lovely spot. I hope it comes back someday, because it’s simply too beautiful there. Our room was clean and lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. My dog got a warm welcome. Thank you!

The location is pretty good, and it’s definitely very quiet. The rooms are okay, though there’s nowhere to hang wet towels. The old wardrobe gives off a musty smell and should be closed off. One of our two mattresses was quite worn, but that was fine for us.

Getting in with a code was easy, and the rooms are nicely furnished. There’s no restaurant on-site, though the nearest one is an easy walk away.

The room was a little noisy, but earplugs helped us sleep well. We’d definitely return. We stayed one night at Hotel FREVOR in a spacious, comfortable room overlooking the garden. The hotel is beautifully set by the river amid greenery, and the owner was friendly and accommodating. We didn’t have breakfast, but the breakfast room and outdoor terrace looked very inviting. ☺️

Parking and bringing a dog were both free, and the place was spotless. We booked through Airbnb and communication was seamless. I received the check-in code by email and let ourselves in. Highly recommend!
