We came over from Canada and stopped for a couple of days while visiting the region. The family running the hotel gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful in both English and German, especially with local history and attractions. Our room was clean, breakfast and dinner were lovely, and there are nice walks and pretty villages nearby. It’s popular, so I recommend booking.

The new owners have made this a very pleasant hotel, with good rooms, a restaurant, and good service. It draws a nice mix of locals, travellers, pilgrims, and tourists. There’s plenty of history nearby, and the hills are great for walking or biking. I’d gladly return. Hjelmborg, Denmark.

We all enjoyed the burgers. Mine was so good that I ordered it with two meatballs, but that turned out to be far too much. Sensational and seriously delicious.
