B & B Gästehaus Schmidt

For my Rennsteig hike, they even offered to get in touch if I needed help or ran into any problems. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I left feeling very grateful to the Schmidt family! 🍀 I slept wonderfully with the window open, without a sound to disturb me. The room had everything I needed, the bathroom was very clean, and I could park right outside the door. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and found a little snack and a drink waiting in my room. Breakfast was fantastic: coffee, tea, juice, milk, water, jams, cold cuts and cheese, tomato and mozzarella, cucumber, bell pepper, and rolls. The homemade persimmon jam was amazing! They even made a pot of tea for my trail. That's excellent service. I stayed one night.

The hostess is a lovely person and treated us to a wonderful breakfast. We spent a very pleasant night in this warmly run B&B. Our room was spotless and furnished with care, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was high quality and immaculate. We'd return without hesitation.

We booked a room very spontaneously while passing through on the way home from Croatia. The couple were so friendly, welcomed us warmly, and handed over the keys. After checking with them, we could even arrive late. It was perfect for one night, though we'd happily stay for several days too.
