Breakfast in the garden, looking out over the lovely flowerbeds, was a great way to start each morning. In the summer heat, we also loved returning to the cool apartment and having the nearby outdoor pool for a refreshing swim whenever we wanted. The landlords were incredibly kind and helpful, and people throughout the village were very nice too. The apartment was luxuriously furnished and had everything we could think of, from a microwave and blender to baking paper and toothpicks. It was better equipped than many homes. You do need to be able to drive, and the steep driveway takes a little getting used to, but it’s worth it. There’s plenty more I could praise. A trip well worth making.

We’ll definitely return. The pool was great to use, and the apartment itself was wonderful, with a fantastic view. The owners were so friendly and always happy to answer our questions, and we felt completely at home. The Weserbergland is a beautiful area for a trip, and we wholeheartedly recommend both it and this holiday apartment. Simply top-notch. Best wishes from the north.

The host was very kind, and we loved this modern, beautiful suite. It’s a little remote, but that worked well for us. Bring your own slippers, though: we went without them for two days and our feet got very cold. A lovely apartment and a friendly host, highly recommended.

The balcony has a fantastic view across the Weser Uplands. We stayed in the smaller 40 sq m apartment at the beginning of September this year; there’s also a larger 90 sq m one. It’s tastefully furnished, and everything has been thought of.
