We had a great weekend in the Mosel, with plenty to do beyond relaxing on the balcony and sipping Riesling while looking out over the vineyards. There were hikes, villages to explore, and more wine to learn about. Breakfast was so generous I couldn't finish it, but the rolls and cheese Brittney packed for us came in handy later at the cool lookout tower she recommended. The owners really know their wines and make some amazing ones. Niederburg Helden and Blanc de Noir were my favorites. John led our tasting in English and German, which we appreciated. Next time we'll do the hike into the vineyards for a tasting there. Until then, we'll enjoy the cases we had delivered. I couldn't resist, the prices are such a deal. Hope to see you again soon!

The tasting felt personal and genuine, and the setting was beautiful. The bilingual winemakers talk about their passion with real charm and know-how. Their wines are clean, honest, and full of character. A real treat for anyone who loves wine.

The 2.5 stars aren't about how they welcomed us. Last year we visited the weingut and had a warm, delicious tasting. They’re one of the few wineries in germany willing to age riesling in barrels, and we really liked it. We took home bottles of our favorites. If you’re after a relaxed, low-key tasting, get in touch. I think we need to order some more bottles soon 🤷🏽♂️🤭
