Project Bay - Workation / Coworking

The worst place I've ever stayed. The building leaks badly, leaving a damp smell everywhere. EDIT: Jeanette, I will not delete this review. I stayed here with TRAC renewables, and your leaking rooms destroyed my laptop. I gave you over a YEAR to try to claim it through insurance, but you failed to do that, leaving me no choice but to post an accurate review.

The accommodation is very basic, with a bed and somewhere to shower, and the leaking makes it a very poor place to stay. Rain comes through the roof and windows, leaving puddles in the room, and the dripping keeps you awake at night. You might even have electronics ruined by the leaks. The proprietors did nothing when that happened. They promised to sort it out, apparently just to keep me quiet, but a year later they still haven't replaced or compensated for the damaged electronics.

I arrived on vacation at short notice for two nights and hadn't brought a PC, but the co-working atmosphere drew me in. The owners lent me a notebook for half a day, so I managed to get some work done. Coffee, water, and use of a fully equipped kitchen are included. There's an open atmosphere, and if you fancy a paddle, you can take a kayak right outside the door. One evening, guests and operators who felt like joining had a barbecue in the garden overlooking the sea. A nice project, and I can only recommend it.

I didn't choose to stay here, my work insisted for their convenience. The rooms were like Josef fritzels basement x 10! Waking in the night to masses of cobwebs and arachnids was quite a fright. The rooms are damp and moist. I've stayed in more than a handful of these dwellings, and they all seem the same, some even with leaks. Make sure your electronics are insured: all of us had personal belongings damaged, with no liability from either our company or the accommodation management. Good luck! Only a fool would stay here.
