Haus in der Zitronengasse

There’s a TV, kettle, and a small espresso provided, and everything is very clean and tidy. The modern bathroom suits the room’s style perfectly. Exposed timber framing, old double windows, and carefully chosen furnishings make it feel wonderfully cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this little gem in the heart of the charming narrow streets, with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants.

The landlady made us feel really looked after. She’s consistently warm and helpful, while still having her own private life, of course. Our little room was spotless, tidy, and had a lovely mix of modern touches and traditional woodwork. It’s a small, cozy place rather than a hotel, so book with that in mind. From this very central spot, the harbor, Lake Constance boat trips, island sights, cafés, and restaurants in the old lanes are all just minutes away. We stayed four nights and didn’t regret a single one. If we come back to Lindau, we’d love to stay at Zitronengässchen again. Many thanks to Ms. Zuzana Zemanowska.

The old town location is fantastic, and there’s a guest parking space at P5. The house has been restored with so much charm, and everything feels high quality and clean. The ceilings are low, though, so it may be a bit awkward if you’re over 175 cm tall :-)

The apartment was spotless, small and cozy, and the hostess was lovely. Nights were really noisy because of music and TV. I’d still happily come back for a night or two.
