Hotel Cafe Schachener Hof Lindau

The lake’s beautiful park and pier are about a 10-minute walk away, and parking was easy and stress-free. We stayed one night with breakfast and I could happily have stayed longer. The rooms were very clean, though ours had no balcony. The lady on the service team was very nice and friendly. You can get lunch and dinner here too.

Breakfast was awesome, and the hotel has a really cool beer garden. I was in town for a conference and stayed just one night. The room was great, the setting very pleasant, and the staff friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back.

Roman, Simone and Toni are wonderful hosts and put a lot of love into everything here. The hotel is super clean, and the Biergarten is just as good. 10/10 for both. Thank you ❤️❤️

We didn’t stay at Schachener Hof, so I can’t comment on the rooms, and I wish I’d found the hotel earlier to book and give a more complete rating. We were a family of four traveling with a relative from Switzerland around Europe, planning to visit Lindau the next day. Bodolzer Dorfstüble was very full, and someone suggested Schachener Hof. I’m so glad we went. The restaurant was empty, but the service was prompt, kind, patient, and honest. We don’t speak English, and German is the main language, but the person serving us accommodated us in English. The wait for our food was reasonable. The presentation was simple, just right for what we ordered, and the food tasted amazing. We had three chicken schnitzels and a ham, egg, and potato salad meal. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portions were very large, more than I’d usually serve myself. I was extremely grateful for the experience.
