We only stayed a short time, but the warm, sincere staff made Hotel Garni Brugger feel like a lovely place. The rooms, breakfast, and cleaning were all great. It's a super cozy spot with a high standard, and we'd recommend it and come back.

Hotel Garni Brugger was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and my room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of fresh choices and was amazing. You're right in the heart of Lindau Island, only a short walk from the lake and harbor. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lindau.

Evelin is the reason this hotel earned its five stars from us. She welcomed us like family, was patient with our three kids, explained things in both German and English, carried a bag, and paid close attention to what the children needed. She also made conversation at breakfast and suggested things to do and places to eat. Just a kind person. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and large, especially by European standards, and they're worth navigating the hotel's two separate buildings for. The building itself is narrow. The hotel sits right at the edge of the walking area, close to everything you'd want nearby on vacation. Check-in was efficient and welcoming, and breakfast was typical German fare. At this price in Lindau, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Breakfast was served for us in a small, peaceful outdoor dining area, which was lovely. We had a really relaxing stay at hotel Brügger. The staff were friendly, and our room was spacious, tidy, and comfortable. Getting around was easy too. Definitely recommend it if you're staying in Lindau! :)
