The house is spacious and the setting is lovely, tucked away outside town among fields and horse paddocks. But it is worn and badly in need of repairs, and the wheelchair access is only partial. There are cobwebs and dust around the house, and the property feels neglected. Ants were around and inside the house, so children couldn't use the property or playground at all. The decking is rotten, with screws sticking out. The whirlpool jets are dirty, one shower door is missing, and shower water runs down the wall into the sauna. Access for wheelchair users is so-so. There's a step between the ramp and terrace, and no safety railing on the terrace. One grab bar by the toilet swivels; the fixed one is 20 cm into the doorway. Wider wheelchairs can't fit in the bathroom, unless the grab bar is unscrewed from the wall with an Allen wrench. The bathroom needs changes because it isn't wheelchair accessible.

What I like about this place is how quiet and secluded it is. Apart from the two show homes, there's nothing here, which makes it feel like a real holiday. The blue house is a little dated, but clean and in good shape. It has a sauna, whirlpool, barbecue, and fireplace, all you need for a few relaxing days. It might be Germany's smallest holiday village.

We were welcomed nicely and the accommodation was good. The Wi-Fi not working was a shame, and I think the kitchenette could use better lighting for safety.
