The countryside here is lovely, and it's a peaceful spot on the outskirts of Bamberg. The drive into town isn't too long. I was here on a business trip and didn't have a wedding, but the place would make a great wedding venue.
The rooms are spotless and everything works as it should. The beds were just right for a great night's sleep. A friendly German lady welcomed us, speaks great English, and takes the time to show you around. Breakfast is Bavarian-style, with homemade salads and jams added in. Her beer garden is lovely and inviting, and fits perfectly with the surroundings. And the icing on the cake is the fully stocked refrigerator on the 2nd floor :)
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and breakfast was good. A very nice location.
We were on the Brauereiweg, and this was a good spot to stay. The gasthof is beautiful, in a great location, and the owner was friendly and spoke good English.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and service is great. A beautifully situated hotel.
