Würmtaler Gästehaus

The location was handy, with bus stops a short walk away, the train station close by, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. My room was clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were always ready to help. Breakfast was the usual European spread of cold meats and cheeses, eggs, fruit, bread and pastries. A few things were inconvenient. There’s no microwave on site, so we couldn’t reheat dinner leftovers, and they don’t provide washcloths, which I always use to bathe. The main door and bathroom door rubbed against the carpet and took a good shove to open fully. Small issues, but easy to fix. Would I return? Of course. We came from the United States with an open mind and found a quaint, traditionally German guesthouse that feels like a simpler time. There’s no air conditioning, only heat, so keep that in mind in warmer months. I stayed in late September and, coming from Florida, was fine, but I asked for a fan to circulate the air while I slept, and they gladly brought one.
