Aparthotel Haus Usedom

We left the car behind and got around the island by train, since the railway connection was so convenient. Breakfast was generous and kept getting replenished, so even latecomers had plenty to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive to what guests needed, and the rooms were perfectly fine. A very nice stay.

After a really unpleasant experience at the nearby mother-and-child clinic, we came to Haus Usedom for a few days and had a lovely break. Mrs. Rupp in the breakfast room was especially kind, making sure our 3-year-old son was properly looked after. The place has a charming old-fashioned feel and is well maintained, and the price was excellent for what we got.

We've come back to Hotel Haus Usedom for a second stay and are just as happy with it. The staff are helpful and really friendly, and there's plenty to eat at the buffet even though it's small. We have a spacious apartment with a kitchen and three beds, and we're here with our two dogs. The beach is about a 10-minute walk, with Kölpinsee train station just 2 minutes away. Great value for money.

For a 4-star hotel, the rooms feel very basic. You can't pay by card, either. Breakfast costs €20 per person, which seems very expensive even with the large selection.
