Hotel Garni Seeschlösschen

Kölpinsee was so peaceful, which we really liked, and the beach is only about a five-minute walk away. The station is also nearby, handy since the guest card lets you travel for free. If you want more activity, it’s easy to take the train to Heringsdorf, Bansin, Karl's Strawberry Village, and other places. Around the beach there’s a little market square with three restaurants, including a tasty fish shop, and prices seemed reasonable compared with bigger tourist spots. We booked a holiday flat at Seeschlösschen, in a separate building around 50 meters around the corner from the main one. It has five apartments, with plenty of parking in the enclosed courtyard. Breakfast is served in the main building, and it was fantastic. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the buffet had a great range, from sweets and salads to fish prepared in different ways. The different rolls were always fresh and delicious. The apartment was outside the main building, as mentioned, but the friendly, welcoming team made us feel at home. We’ll definitely come back for a few days at the Seeschlösschen.

The breakfast was fantastic, with nothing missing, and the staff were really friendly. We spent a lovely weekend in Loddin and stayed at Hotel Seeschlösschen for the first time. The furnishings have an 80s feel and aren’t new, but everything was clean and in good condition. The mattresses didn’t seem old and were very comfortable. The owner’s first welcome felt rather reserved, though the receptionist was especially friendly.

We felt very comfortable here. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there’s parking available. It’s well placed between the beach and the train station, neither far away. Breakfast was generous and the staff very friendly. In peak season the breakfast room can get crowded, so you may need to wait a little, but that didn’t bother us since coffee was already available. :-)

The free UBB rides with the guest card were a real plus. Rooms were clean and a decent size. Breakfast was good and there was enough, but serving so many guests was a struggle. We often waited for things, refills took a while, and waiting more than 20 minutes for coffee is unacceptable. All leisure activities came with a fee.
