I felt completely at ease from the moment I arrived. The hostess was incredibly friendly and the service was superb. Her warmth is rare, and many hoteliers and restaurateurs could learn from her. The owner is truly lovely and welcoming, highly recommended. Breakfast was just right for me, neither too much nor too little. I also liked the sustainable approach: we wrote down how many rolls we wanted the day before, so food wasn’t wasted. My room was clean, cozy, and pleasantly warm. It isn’t somewhere to expect pure luxury, but if genuine hospitality, warmth, and a welcoming atmosphere matter to you, this is a great fit. Simply top-notch!

The owner was so welcoming that we felt at home straight away. It’s a lovely guesthouse in the peaceful village of Kölpinsee, with an excellent breakfast buffet. We’d love to come back.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. Online, I couldn’t change the number of guests, but they sorted it out on site, so I didn’t have to pay a cancellation fee and the stay ended up costing less. The guesthouse is well equipped, and breakfast is very good for this kind of place, especially with the fully automatic coffee machine. ;) The slightly old-fashioned look gives it a particular charm and didn’t take away from the quality of our stay. The walk to the beach was pleasant too. :)

We were thrilled with our first stay at this guesthouse, at the end of July 2025. The small room was clean and perfectly adequate, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was generous and included, and the welcome was incredibly friendly. It’s not far from the beach, and we’d gladly return and recommend the place. The one thing Kölpinsee lacks is a supermarket such as Netto or Aldi. Otherwise, you can simply enjoy the wonderful island. Thanks again to the owners and staff. 🤗

We stayed for five days in August 2025 and felt very comfortable. The guesthouse is quiet, with clean rooms, comfortable beds that left us well rested, and refrigerators in the rooms. Breakfast runs from 8:00 to 10:00 am, with plenty to choose from and excellent coffee. There’s also a vending machine on the ground floor, ample parking for cars and bikes, and the beach is only 600 m away. Good value for money. We’d happily recommend the guesthouse and will visit again.
