Hotel Lellmann

Löf didn’t have much to offer, and it wasn’t really possible to enjoy the river there, so we mostly used the hotel as a base for exploring nearby places by car. Still, we had a lovely stay. The spa was quiet and clean, and we really liked both the restaurant meal and the breakfast buffet. Staff at the hotel and restaurant were super friendly. Thanks for a lovely visit!

We celebrated my grandparents’ 25th wedding anniversary here in July, and the staff even decorated our table beautifully for it. Everyone was friendly, from reception and the restaurant to housekeeping. The food was a hit, and my son and nephew especially loved the pool. The train station is within walking distance. We all enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for seven nights and had a very nice time, though the package price, especially with dinner included, could have been better value. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, while the three-course dinners were just okay. We wouldn’t choose the half-board dinners again if we returned. The pool, sauna and steam bath were a delight. Spa treatments were mixed: the masseuse was great, but the mani-pedi was only okay. In the hotel’s cozy Weinstube/bar, the serving staff didn’t know much about the wines, and tastings weren’t offered. Our river-facing suite had a modern, clean bathroom, a huge bathtub that was a pleasure to use, and a little wine fridge. The room itself felt a bit dated, and the bed was rather hard, with solid wood under the mattress instead of a more flexible base. The furniture could be arranged better: the TV was far from the bed, there was no sofa or small coffee table, and a lot of the middle of the room went unused. We loved the balcony, but it sat directly above the restaurant’s outdoor seating, so cigarette smoke often drifted up. Being on the main street also meant early wake-ups from traffic and helicopters spraying the vineyards.

We were four people in two rooms, and our own stay was good: a nice, clean room and friendly staff. Our fellow travellers had a different experience. Their bed hadn’t been cleaned, so they moved to another room, where the toilet was faulty. It was still leaking after a repair, and they got neither an apology nor a small gesture.
