Schloss & Gut Liebenberg

Our room was spacious and tidy, with a lovely view of the courtyard and its pretty Christmas decorations. In the evening, they gave the place a magical feel. We held our small wedding dinner at Schloss Liebenberg and really enjoyed it. The meal was very good, made with fresh local products, and the service was attentive and very friendly. We'd gladly recommend it for weddings or any kind of stay.

We hired bikes and rode through the forest and nearby countryside. I hadn't expected to find such lush scenery so close to Berlin. The hotel sits in peaceful countryside on extensive, beautifully maintained grounds. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, and everything was spotless. Staff were plentiful, and the food was delicious, clearly made with local ingredients. There's even a large vegetable garden to wander around. My only criticism is that some of the hotel information should be available in English. We saw area maps but couldn't use them because we don't speak German.

We had a fantastic stay in a renovated castle, with large rooms and wonderful hospitality. The rooms are a little worn, which is the only downside, but I'm already looking forward to coming back.

We expected more of a castle atmosphere and less of a conference feel. Even so, it was a great place to stay: quiet and professional, with friendly service and good facilities, including a sauna and gym.
