Lubmin is a peaceful little Baltic Sea resort town, and the Stoertebeker Apartments are a gem right in the heart of it. I was there for work, but I’d definitely come back. The accommodation is excellent and ideally located. The owners are lovely, kind, hardworking people who take great pride in the apartments, and you can see how much care they give both the properties and their guests. Lubmin feels like one of Germany’s best kept secrets.

We’ve stayed in plenty of holiday apartments and houses, and often have to clean the kitchen equipment ourselves before using it, even in expensive places. Here, the dishes were all clean and the equipment was sensibly chosen. There was enough salt, sugar, coffee capsules, and other basics to get started, and it looks like these are restocked before each new rental. The apartment is spacious, and the bathroom is nicely laid out with a large shower. The furnishings don’t feel like home, but they suit the price. In early February it was completely quiet, quiet enough to sleep with the window open. We also had a parking space in a convenient spot, and the beach is a short walk away. Keep it up!

The location is fantastic, with the beach just 100m away. The apartments are beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the owner is very friendly. We felt really comfortable here.
