The conversations with Susann and Mathias about local history and culture were a real highlight, along with our day trips to Peedemunde and Greifswald and an evening walk by the Ryck River. They and their daughter were so welcoming, and gave us tips for sights and good places to eat. We wanted somewhere a little off the beaten path, and Seebad Lubmin turned out to be a surprisingly relaxing place to spend time. Ferienhaus Strandbusch is roomy and comfortable, with a modern feel, a sauna, a practical kitchen, a grill, and a covered table outside that seats eight. It’s less than five minutes on foot to the beach and pier, and swimming in the Baltic was wonderfully refreshing.

We’re already looking forward to coming back. This was our fourth year in a row at Strandbusch, this time for a week with five people in early June, and we’ve never had a cleanliness complaint. The owners are friendly and helpful, the beach is close, and the furnishings are both extensive and good quality. We can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home.

Everything was spotless and tidy, and the little details made the place feel warm and comfortable. We had all we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy blankets for chilly evenings, and the beach is nearby too. We stayed a week with five people at the Strandbusch holiday home and felt very comfortable. The owners welcomed us so warmly that we almost forgot how long the trip had been.

The spot is hard to beat: the beach and pier are only 200 meters away, so it’s easy to head over in a swimsuit for a lagoon swim or take an evening stroll. Even during the summer heat, the basement stayed pleasantly cool for sleeping. The lavender-scented terrace was a lovely place to unwind in the beach chair or on the loungers, and the kids were kept busy by all the media equipment when the weather turned bad. We had a wonderful family holiday in the Haacker family's house this year. It felt even nicer than home, with nothing lacking. Arriving and leaving were simple, and the owners were always available for questions. It’s a fantastic house and gets our top rating. Sadly, it was already booked for next year, so we’ll return in two years.

The house and garden are lovely, with a big living room and two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Downstairs there are two more rooms, plus a sauna, billiards, and an exercise machine. It’s spacious enough for a large family, but still cozy for just the two of us. Everything was perfectly clean, the hosts, who are almost neighbors, are incredibly nice and open, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. We were visiting the cozy little Hanseatic city of Greifswald in November, where Casper David Friedrich was born 250 years ago and where a large, exciting exhibition about his life was planned for 2024. Luckily, we found Ferienhaus Strandbusch in Lubmin, just 20 minutes away, close to the sea and its beautiful beach. We can warmly recommend it.
