The owner gave us a very warm welcome and was wonderfully hospitable. We had a great stay. It's a small family-run hotel in the heart of Luckenwalde, with a consistent, well-implemented hygiene policy. The rooms were bright, spacious, and exceptionally clean, and the beds were excellent. There's Wi-Fi, a TV, and a small refrigerator in the rooms, plus free parking on site. Breakfast left nothing to be desired.

The food is excellent, and they do their best to handle special requests. The conservatory is lovely for family celebrations, and guests can stay overnight too. Parties need at least 20 guests and can have no more than 30. The menu is arranged ahead of time, and you'll need to bring your own music and entertainment.

The staff were friendly, courteous, and accommodating, and there's ample parking in the courtyard. The dining room was okay, though not entirely dust-free, and the food was average. The place has a strong GDR charm. Rooms are functional and clean, but the beds were quite uncomfortable, and we had winter blankets in the middle of summer. There were no mosquito nets on the windows. The biggest problem was that our three-year-old was given juice in a champagne glass for the toast. While drinking, he bit the rim too hard and ended up with a huge shard of glass in his mouth. Maybe the owner can't be blamed for what happened, but glasses shouldn't be that easy to break.
