We only stayed briefly at Hotel de Weimar, but it was a nice visit. At 88 euros a night, the rate seemed fair for the amenities, welcoming staff, and convenient location. You can walk to pretty much everything you might want to see in Ludwigslust. I can recommend it.

We'd definitely come back. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff and owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, all in a lovely hotel set in a historic building.

The cuisine is great for fine dining, and the service is excellent in an upscale-feeling hotel. It’s also very well located for more polished events, like birthday parties or New Year’s Eve celebrations.

The location is convenient for the Schlossgarten, castle, church, and city center, while still being quiet. Rooms were nice and very clean, staff kind, and parking was free. The price is fair, and I'd come back.

I stayed a few days on a business trip. The rooms were clean, but the staff couldn't speak English, and the breakfast eggs were cold. :/
