It's a quiet spot in town, with parking available and amenities close by. Some rooms have balconies.

We used Pension am Markt as a base for three days exploring the Spreewald. Right in central Lübben, it was convenient for getting around, and breakfast was brought to our room in generous portions. The service was friendly each day. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and we especially recommend Gasthaus am Markt. We had the venison there, beautifully presented and delicious.

At first glance, our second-floor room seemed quite good, but after four days we were left wondering how this hotel earned four stars. The bathroom had no counter space for two, most of the shower grout had light mold, and the floor didn't look very clean. The kitchen was so small that having breakfast there wasn't possible, and the furnishings were sparse. The mattress had a rubber protective layer, and the pillow was rubberized too, which would be almost unbearable for someone with skin problems. It may be easy to clean, but it wasn't comfortable for the skin. This might work for tradespeople, or at most one person in an apartment. Poor value for the price.
