The hotel is basic and cramped, though it seems that's common in this area. It's still well worth staying to experience the fantastic Spreewald. Set deep enough in the woods for a lovely atmosphere, it also offers boat trips directly from the property. Vegetarians and vegans should know the hotel menu isn't recommended for them. Nearby food options can close early or be quite far away.

A peaceful, cozy place surrounded by canals, with breathtaking views and heated bathroom floors. The Gurken Museum is right next to the hotel, and it's a 5-10 minute walk to town. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was awesome. A very comfortable spot to relax, and a must visit when you're around town.

A good place to get away, breathe fresh air, walk in nature, and focus. Cell reception is very limited and the hotel wifi is constrained. They serve local game food.

We were here for friends' wedding, and everything was top notch. The staff were friendly, and the owner was incredibly helpful. They made everything easy and memorable.
