The old style furniture gave the apartment a cool ambiance, and it was a very nice place. We only stayed one night, but it would have worked well for a longer visit too. It's close to several restaurants and bars, and Holstentor and the other main attractions are a short walk away. There's no elevator, so luggage has to go up two flights of stairs. We knew that ahead of time, so it wasn't a surprise or a problem for us.

Our booking through booking.com was allegedly canceled by booking, as we learned directly from the landlord when we arrived. He said it wasn't his fault, but we were left without accommodation and had to find somewhere else on the spot. This has never happened to me with booking before, and it raises serious questions and doubts, especially since other bookings were reportedly affected by this kind of cancellation too. It's not easy to tell who caused the error, but it was very frustrating. With a cancellation on the day we were due to arrive, I can only advise against this provider. Stay away, you don't need that kind of stress. Something isn't right!
