Breakfast was quite an experience, with so much food prepared with care and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't have been nicer, they were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details like a small carafe of port and bathrobes. It really was a wonderful stay, and if I'm ever back in Lübeck, I'd book a room here again without hesitation. The old building has no elevator or AC. It was warm when I arrived, but opening all the windows brought in a nice breeze.

The staff were wonderful, and there's parking nearby. The room was fantastic, modernized throughout while keeping its original rustic charm. Outstanding work, and it's in a nice location.

The rooms are large, the beds are good, and the hotel itself is classy. The location is good too. Breakfast was super, but expensive, and the hotel isn't staffed all day. I'll come back.

The building dates back to 1754 and has been turned into 10 spacious rooms. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of the old historic town. Service was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, served as a whole selection on a platter, with the option to top up.

Breakfast was very good, and the location is great, but I won't visit this hotel again. It feels like style over substance, poor for a 4 star. It was noisy at the front on weekend nights, with drunk people shouting and cars making noise until at least 4am. I understand the building's protected, so you might not want to install aircon, but above 30C there should be a fan in the room. Don't respond by asking if I requested one, I shouldn't have to. There was a handwritten note on the towel rail, hidden by towels, suggesting putting a towel on the shower floor. I didn't see it until I almost fell. The shower base is so slippery it's dangerous. Small things were frustrating too, like no convenient plug sockets for charging or boiling the provided kettle, which would have to sit on the floor. And why no coffee sachets? Do you really need to save 50c?
